Here is what to do: In project options, go to the Output tab and check Run User Program #1 in the after make section. You can use the fromelf utility to convert the file to binary. After Build - User command #1: C:\Keil_v5\ARM\ARMCC\bin\fromelf.exe -bin -output=SND201V1.bin C:\Users\Bhal Laptop 2017\Documents\A Smart Node DECWG (SND) Program\SND M0 Software\SND201V1\Objects\SND201V1.axfĪctually, the file needs to be *.bin for the tool to accept it. If someone knows the way to get this step completed from the DS-5 tool I'd be happy to hear about it (without the full path it could not find the SND201V1.axf file.) Now the error message is FromELF: creating hex file. The command string I entered is -> I issue the mkimage command from outside the DS-5 tool as a manual post-build step. ![]() The various Keil manuals state that you can do this by entering a command string in Target 1> User tab.
